Producing a violin that sounds this good takes time - five years in fact. This is the minimum amount of time that the tonewoods are aged for before being chosen. By using the historic combination of a flamed maple body with a solid spruce top produces a focused, powerful sound with plenty of body which will continue to improve over time.
The woods are hand selected based on their age and narrowness of grain, before being hand carved for a sound and appearance full of style. Because of this, no two Nobile violins ever look the same. To complement the body of the instrument, the Nobile is fitted with ebony pegs and an ebony tailpiece. To ensure tuning is never an issue, the tailpiece includes a gilt screw e string adjuster.
Nothing will hold up your performance with this complete setup. You'll be able to jump right in to playing with a fully mounted bow made from durable Bulletwood. Get your bow ready for playing with the included Hidersine rosin block so you can produce the smoothest tone. Then, pack it all up in your sturdy styrofoam oblong case, providing durable protection for your instrument as you travel between rehearsals, orchestra, and performances!
Dominant strings suit every player. Made for keen violinists, they are a favourite with live, studio, and casual violinists alike. This versatile nature takes them all over the globe. Wherever they are, their clear sound sings out despite humidity, making themselves a name as a durable choice. It's unsurprising that they're so strong with a flexible, multi-strand nylon core. With Dominants at your fingertips, you won't lose your nerve when playing even the highest note, as it can be reached with the E string's steel core.
The company was founded in 1890 and has since been the go-to company of bowed instrument maintenance and care. The company really made their mark in this specialist market when they introduced Amy Birch's 'AB' Rosin in 1970 and the legendary W.E.Hill & Sons' rosins in the 1980's.
Hidersine Bowed Instruments round up all of the years of working with instrument luthiers, learning what is required by players at all the different levels of development. Gained from the years of work are the ESTA-chosen (European String Teachers Association), entry-level Vivente student outfit, the advanced Piacenza student outfit, and the degree students choice, the Veracini, plus many more fine instruments.
