Design Features
The Yamaha YAS280 Saxophone features a redesigned neck receiver which has strengthened the durability of the mechanism, while also making response quicker and play much easier. To ensure reliable closing of the low C# key and to promote a clearer response from lower ranging notes, Yamaha has improved the mechanism from low B-C#. Also new to the design is an adjustable thumb rest which accommodates most hands sizes. This is a great advantage for student players as it helps them to comfortably adopt proper playing technique, and can be adjusted to suit their needs as they grow.

The Yamaha YAS280 Saxophone comes equipped with an AS-4C mouthpiece and plastic mouthpiece cap. Made from high quality phenol resin, the 4C features a design inspired by the Yamaha Custom series.
