All Professional series flutes come with the EC headjoint, which features high chimney walls and a unique undercut. The EC is characterised by tonal resonance and a comfortable, natural-feeling playability. Like all Yamaha orchestral instruments, care has been taken to reward regular maintence with years and years of service. Yamaha's pads resist dehydration or swelling, while the double bladder covering helps ensure perfect seating. All Professional flutes are carefully seasoned for long-lasting adjustment.
