The MediaVault 4105 4Gb FC products is a second generation, market-proven RAID disk array capable of sustaining 250MB. A single MediaVault 4105 will record and play back 1080i HD 10 bit video or 4 uncompressed SD video streams.

The MediaVault 4105 is configurable in either RAID0 mode for performance, or RAID3 mode for data protection and is supplied with 5

removable caddies. It is compatible with Mac, Windows, Unix and Linux platforms, as well as major brands of video editing, capture and

playback cards/devices.

The new expansion feature enables physical connection of multiple units on the same host system interface in a "daisychain" fashion. This

gives the capability of read and write speeds of up to 380MB/s per interface, and capacity expansion to several tens of Terabytes of data and

hours of video or film resolution footage.

Array is supplied with a 3 year return to base warranty.

Shipped kit includes: one (1) MediaVault 4105 array including five (5) removable disk drive modules, one (1) SFP to LC Transceiver Module,

one (1) three (3) meter LC to LC interface cable, one (1) power cord, one (1) diagnostic cable, and a User`s guide.

NOTE : Capacities quoted are for array being used in non redundant RAID0 (stripped) mode. Reduced capacity by 20% to get usable capacity when array is in redundant RAID3 mode.
