Tried and tested, original 5000 design. Change isn't always necessary. However, DW have worked to modernise certain aspects of the 5000 pedal to meet the demands of today's drummers. They do this while retaining the base concepts that made their pedal an industry standard.

Modernised Features

Featuring several patented innovations, the DW 5000 Series Accelerator Single Kick pedal delivers performance above and beyond what drummers expect from a modern pedal. The Tri-Pivot toe clamp ensures the pedal stays connected no matter the hoop size or angle. This also features a convenient clip and includes a DW drum key. The patented Delta Ball-Bearing Hinge is made from state-of-the-art lightweight aluminum that incorporates ball bearings at both sides. There's also double ball bearing spring suspension that ensures smooth, stable, and responsive performance from the pedal.
