The bass guitar comes equipped with two powerful Dynamix bass pickups in a classic "P/J" configuration. When in this combination, the punchy "P"-style split coil neck pickup, paired with the mellow "J"-style single coil bridge pickup, allows the instrument to achieve everything from warm jazz sounds to thunderous rock tones. The two pickups are wired to individual volume controls and share a master tone control, letting you dial in the perfect sound for your playing style.

The Ibanez GSRM20 GIO is part of the miKro series of bass guitars by Ibanez. These smaller counterparts are aimed towards players with smaller hands. It provides you with more comfort, as well as the same looks and tone. The miKro bass guitar is ideal for players of all abilities. The GSRM20 has been crafted with a poplar body and jatoba fretboard, which offers good levels of projection with a clear ringing tone, and a good amount of sustain. The neck is made from maple, which provides bright tones with plenty of twang.
