Inspiring Arpeggiator and Note repeat tools

Discover a world of creative innovation with the two independent Arpeggio and Repeat engines (one for keys and one for pads) that give you instant parameter access. Creative exciting synth and percussion lines and put a new spin on your tonal palette. Once selected and activated, the parameters become mapped to the eight pads, comprised of Rate, Swing, Accent Level, Interval, Tempo, Arp Modes and Arp Octave.

Seamless DAW integration

With Impact LX Mini, you can control your DAW with a fluid motion to navigate your projects faster than ever before. Using the seven transport controls, you can take complete control over the transporting of your mouse across your project, covering everything from record, stop, play, loop, rewind, fast forward and an additional eight features when you engage the shift button, as well as an additional third level of control for a total of 21 functions with DAW integration. All of this without ever reaching for a mouse! Most major DAW's are covered, including Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, FL Studio and Studio One.

Dedicated instrument mode for hardware tweaking

Where most compact MIDI keyboards only give the ability to play in your performance on the keys, Impact LX Mini takes this one step further by providing you with a dedicated instrument mode. Here, the rotary knobs allow you to control the parameters of your virtual instrument, just like you would edit the sounds on a hardware synth! A total of 16 parameters can be accessed and edited on the fly when using the Page button to edit everything from OscTune, Level, Modulation 1, Modulation 2, Cutoff, Resonance, Envelope, LFO and much more! Simple and intuitive to set up, the Nektar Grab software lets you assign the hardware control to an encoder and save the assignment to be recalled later.

Footswitch compatibility

A highly requested feature, the Impact LX Mini features a footswitch connector, allowing you to connect in your favourite sustain pedal for more accurate and fluid performances on your MIDI keyboard. An adaptor is provided to connect from 1/8 inch to 1/4inch to match most traditional sustain pedals.

Take control of your performance

Give your mouse a break and take control over your performance with everything at your fingertips. Featuring eight dedicated buttons for integration with your DAW, you can control your entire performance onboard without ever needing to touch additional equipment. Where some might see the 25 keys as a limitation, the LX Mini has a clever set of features that gives you much more control than traditionally possibly with keyboards of this size.

The "Part 2" button lets you momentarily shift the octave up or down, transpose or layer another octave on top, giving you the means to perform your music uninterrupted! Expertly designed, when you hit this button during a performance, LX Mini will keep playing the last notes that were played in the original settings, letting you play low bass notes and shift up an octave to solo over the top. The eight dedicated controller buttons are also MIDI-assignable and with the "Part 2" button, you can switch to another MIDI channel on the fly. Switchable to both "momentary" and "latching", you are given a flexible arrangement that is tailored to you and your setup.
