Key Features

Charvel guitars have always being designed for speed, and this San Dimas Pro Mod is certainly no exception. The two-piece maple neck has a compound radius ebony fingerboard with a Charvel speed profile, perfect for lightning fast playing and completely unhindered position changes. The fingerboard also features rolled edges to provide the broken-in feel of an instrument with plenty of playing miles on it. The ash wood body provides enhanced volume and brightness, giving the guitar a strong midrange with a crisp, warm bass.
The Charvel guitar features a set of passive Seymour Duncan pickups to provide powerful and articulate tones. The Seymour Duncan Nazgul bridge humbucker is designed with ceramic magents to deliver a high-output, punchy, and defined tonality, especially within the lower frequency range making it ideal for drop tunings. The versatile Seymour Duncan Sentient neck humbucker delivers rich distorted tones and deep, detailed, clean sounds, offering a huge amount of tonal versatility. The volume control ingeniously conceals a push/pull coil split to provide even more tonal variety and versatility, letting you switch between a humbucker and a single coil pickup.
The unique no load tone control is an impressive piece of electronic circuitry, allowing the guitar's signal to pass directly through the tone control untainted and unaltered when in the full 10 position. This provides an improved tonality due to the clear signal path. The tone control can also be used as a standard tone control and is simply activated by switching out of the 10 position (no load) and rotating to adjust tonality.
The Charvel guitar features a unique and innovative compound-radius fretboard design, in which the fingerboard gradually flattens toward the heel from its more rounded profile at the nut. This provides a smooth playability for both chords and riffs whilst the flattened heel allows sensational accessibility and speed at the high register, perfect for both lead and rhythm players.
The Pro-Mod San Dimas incorporates a string-thru body construction to improve tonality and sustain. This is acheievd by transferring vibrations and resonance from the string to the body as it goes over the tune-o-matic bridge and passes through the body.
