The Ashton CGFLCEQ features a spruce top which offers incredible versatility with a broad dynamic range and clear, powerful projection. Spruce's versatile nature provides a sonically-stunning response, allowing the player to go from lighter and complex fingerpicking styles to medium strength Flamenco-inspired strumming patterns with equal ease. In addition, the Ashton CGFLCEQ also features agathis back and sides, offering both comfort and a great sound. Furthermore, the Ashton's agathis back and sides are incredibly lightweight, providing a comfortable experience throughout both seated and standing performances, whilst its sonic-abilities add warmth, resonance and a lively sonic-characteristic.

Neck & Fingerboard

Constructed from mahogany, the CGFLCEQ's neck produces warmth, resonance and a clear top end. Additionally, mahogany's nature allows it to respond superbly to numerous techniques and playing styles with ease, perfect for quick Flamenco licks and complex fingerpicking styles. The neck is topped with a smartwood fingerboard that adds a bright characteristic to the guitar's overall tone whilst providing a smooth platform for the left hand.
