Constructed from a Cocobolo body with a set-in Mahogany the Dean Exotica Cocobolo offers a quick attack and crisp tonality with deep lows and an overall punchy sound. Finished in a gloss natural lacquer the Exotica Cocobolo both looks and sounds impressive whilst the C profile Mahogany neck contributes a resonant tone and effortless playability.

Dean Preamp System & Peizo Pickup

Incorporating a powerful and versatile Dean Preamp the Exotica Cocobolo can easily be connected to amplifiers and PA systems whilst the Peizo pickup located in the sound hole accurately reproduces the natural tone of the Performer. The Preamp system also features a range of built in controls including a 3-band EQ, volume and enhance controls to allow you to shape your tone before the signal even reaches the amplifier. Perfect for quick tone adjustments between songs the Dean Preamp also has a built in tuner with LED display for seamless tuning on the fly.
