Featuring high output active EMG 81 and 85 humbucking pickups, the Rusty Cooley signature delivers a sharp attack and beefy rhythm tones when in the 81 bridge position and a warm, dynamic tonality when in the 85 neck position. EMG pickups are a first choice for many professional musicians such as James Hetfield (Metallica), Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne/Black Label Society) and Matt Tuck (Bullet For My Valentine) as they provide incredible tone, reliable active circuitry and low noise.
Floyd Rose Pro Locking Tremolo
For many years Floyd Rose has been the leading manufacturer and designer of locking tremolos. With a design that has stood strong for over 30 years the Floyd Rose locking tremolo allows you to adjust the string tension and pitch with the removable whammy bar to create unique sounds such as dive bombs. Unlike non-locking tremolo's the Floyd Rose bridge can make huge changes in pitch but still retain the initial tuning by the addition of a locking nut at the end of the headstock.
About Rusty Cooley
Born in 1970, Rusty Cooley is an American guitarist known for his incredible shredding abilities and instructional dvds. After three years of playing Rusty became a guitar instructor and has since had many successful pupils such as Chris Storey (All Shall Perish) and Mica Roth (Hybreed). Having released solo music and making guest appearances on other bands albums, Rusty Cooley is considered to be one of the fastest guitarists in modern music.
