Solid Alder Body

Alder is favoured by most players for its incredibly balanced tone, offering the perfect dynamic range suitable for most musical styles. The alder body is perfect for a variety of playing styles as its excellent sustain and resonance ensures each note is heard. Its bright, sizzling highs, rounded lows, and beefy midrange sets up the foundation of the guitar's overall tonality, allowing players to achieve the perfect sound for most situations. Maple Neck & Ebony Fingerboard

The ESP E-II Guitar is equipped with a 3-piece maple neck and ebony fingerboard, delivering warm, bright tones with plenty of depth and dynamics. The maple offers roundness to the tone, providing bright characteristics and an excellent amount of sustain. The addition of an ebony fingerboard helps to tighten up the neck’s tone, giving it a defined feel, excellent clarity, and a fast attack. Single Active EMG 81 Pickup

The ESP E-II M-II wields a single powerful EMG 81 humbucking pickup, providing an incredibly punchy and thick tonality suitable for delivering destructive solos and licks. Constructed from a close aperture coil and featuring a ceramic magnet, the iconic EMG 81 humbucking pickup provides advanced detail and a truly meaty tone. EMG pickups are favoured by many professional musicians due to their unbeatable tone, active circuitry, high output and low noise.

The string-through-body Gotoh tune-o-matic bridge offers incredible string stability, and optimises the transfer of string vibration for an enhanced sustain and resonance.
