Key Features
Product Ref: 69832
The EC-401 is powered by a pair of high output EMG Pickups, consisting of an EMG 81 in the bridge position and an EMG 60 in the neck. The EMG 81 produces an incredibly intense sound, with good amounts of high end cut. For the classic pickup combination, this LTD MH Guitar also features an EMG 60 pickup that has excellent output with clarity and sweet sustain.
The hardware of the EC-401 is reliable and efficient, which includes a Tune-O-Matic Bridge and Grover Tuners. The Tune-O-Matic Bridge offers excellent levels of sustain and stability and the Grover Tuners work reliably to keep your tone locked in tune all night.
The 3-piece mahogany neck is sturdy, and more resilient to warping than the classic 1-piece neck. Mahogany as a neck tonewood is durable and offers a full and long-lasting guitar neck. The mahogany and rosewood coupling offers complex highs, warm lows and an overall beautifully soft and mellow tone.
The classic EC body shape features a single cutaway, which offers easy access to the higher frets and extra comfort. The guitar's body is crafted from mahogany, which provides a rich and resonant tone, ideal for punchy rock music. The guitar is finished in Military Green Satin with statement binding for an attractive and sleek appearance.
