Eko Guitars gained their popularity in the rock'n'roll era of the 60s. Starting in Italy, Eko managed to take hold of the guitar market with their electric guitars. They were recognisable for their "rocker" switches that made them highly sought after. When Eko ventured into the acoustic guitar world, their guitars became the favourite among country and folk rock bands of the late 60s. The Eko acoustic guitar range became known for their reliability and class, this reputation still lives on today in the modern era with a huge range of Eko acoustic guitars. The price quality ratio of these guitars is what made Eko so popular, bringing excellent sounding guitars without the big price-tag.
