Solid Spruce & Laminated Mahogany Construction

The Gretsch G5024E features a solid spruce top that yields crisp articulation and a broad dynamic range. Its stunning spruce top generates a versatile tonality that is accommodates numerous techniques from light fingerpicking styles to more aggressive strumming patterns with equal ease. Combined with laminated mahogany back and sides, and G5024E delivers a rich, full, and resonant sound. Its laminated back and sides don't warp over time, and remain strong with great tonal properties.

Mahogany Neck & Rosewood Fingerboard

Constructed from mahogany the G5024E's neck produces a rich, resonant sound that responds greatly to many different playing styles. The neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard that not only offers a smooth and energetic playing experience, but adds a sonic warmth to the overall sound. For added beauty, the fingerboard is sprinkled with neo-classic thumbnail markers, inlaid in white pearloid with vintage size frets.

Dreadnought Body

The Gretsch G5024E has a dreadnought body, which provides an enormous voice, and maintains overall tonal balance. Its combination of tonewoods and classic dreadnought body enable players to achieve strong, dominant chord sequences with superb projection and volume, yet is still able to accommodate light to medium strength fingerpicking techniques just as beautifully. In addition, its big body is ideal for players with a longer reach, and those more comfortable with the dreadnought size. The sheer volume the G5024E can project makes it ideal for the singer/songwriter, as vocalists can really push their diaphragm to the max and not feel too loud against the guitar's volume, as it will sing as loud as you do.

Fishman Isys+ Preamp For Amplified Sound

Equipped with a Fishman Isys+ preamp, the Gretsch G5024E is perfectly suited to live and rehearsal environments, making it ideal for the gigging musician. Its on-board preamp features basic controls for sound tweaking, including rotary controls for bass, treble, and volume. The Fishman Isys+ also offers a phase button for reducing feedback when plugged-in and playing within a live setting. For added convenience, the preamp also comes with a built-in tuner, offering a bright easy-readable LED screen, making tuning up or down precise and easy within the darkest of venues.
