At the sound hole rosette is a Rosewood inlaid Bagua - an energy map used in Taoist cosmology for thousands of years - representing balance and harmony, and the Chinese calligraphy, inlaid in Rosewood against a Maple fingerboard, reads Wisdom, Beauty, Truth, Courage, Grace, Peace and Love.
The guitar's Grand Concert body shape - smaller and more curved than the popular Dreadnought design - makes it more comfortable for beginners or smaller players, and provides a soft, bright tone which performs well across a range of styles but is especially suited to finger-style playing. The combination of tonewoods adds richness and clarity to the guitar's sound, and the B-Band T35 built-in preamp/tuner is ideal for both stage and studio, with 3-band EQ and phase select.
