Alder is favoured by most players for its incredibly balanced tone, offering the perfect dynamic range to suit most musical styles. The alder body is perfect for a variety of playing styles, as its excellent sustain and resonance ensures each note is heard. Its bright, sizzling highs, rounded lows, and beefy midrange sets up the foundation of the guitar's overall tonality, allowing players to achieve the perfect sound for most situations. The body is topped with flamed maple, enhancing the guitar's natural brightness and creating a unique aesthetic.
The ESP E-II Guitar is equipped with a 3-piece maple neck and ebony fingerboard, delivering warm, bright tones with plenty of depth and dynamics. The maple offers roundness to the tone, providing bright characteristics and an excellent amount of sustain. The addition of an ebony fingerboard helps to tighten up the neck’s tone, giving it a defined feel, excellent clarity, and a fast attack. The maple and ebony combination creates a sparkling, sizzling high end, a muscular controlled bass response, and a snappy midrange with extra presence in the lower mids.
The ESP E-II guitar is equipped with a jazz neck humbucker and a custom 5 bridge humbucker, delivering loud, bright tones which remain clear even under extreme distortion. The jazz neck offers an extremely versatile vintage-output, producing a glassy treble response with a tight, full bass. The custom 5 humbucker offers a high output tone with an even bass and treble response, making it perfect for a wide range of musical styles.
Also equipped with a push/pull pickup coil tap, the Horizon-III guitar offers a huge amount of tonal options to choose from, ensuring players can deliver the perfect sound for most situations. This function allows players to switch the pickup settings from a standard humbucking mode to a single coil, making it an extremely versatile guitar ideal for live situations when an array of tones are required.
The guitar is finished off with high-end hardware to ensure players receive the best playing experience possible. The string-through-body Gotoh tune-o-matic bridge offers incredible string stability and optimises the transfer of string vibration for an enhanced sustain and resonance. The Gotoh locking tuners improve tuning stability and reduces string slippage, while the Schaller straplocks protect against accidental strap release, ensuring players can deliver a powerful performance without worrying about dropping their guitar.
