The LTD SH-7 Signature Guitar features a basswood body topped with beautiful flamed maple and finished in see-through purple, creating a comfortably lightweight and stunning instrument. The basswood is an excellent tonewood for versatile players, offering fat, well-balanced tones with a slightly soft characteristic. Not only does the flamed maple top create a unique aesthetic, it also enhances the body’s natural brightness to add extra flow and openness to the tone for a defined dynamical range and muscular midrange.

Maple Neck-Through Construction

Brian Welch’s Signature ESP features a 3-piece maple neck to produce beautifully bright tones, with searing highs and strong mids for a dynamic performance. Its extra-thin U-shaped profile is perfect for speed demons, allowing players to easily reach across the entire fingerboard without losing any comfort. The neck-through construction optimises the maximum contact between the neck and body joint, enhancing the guitar's resonance for an advanced sustain. This setup allows superior vibration transfer and sustainability, perfect for when you need notes to ring out for as long as possible.

Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker

Equipped with a set of Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers, the ESP SH-7 Guitar delivers pure, uncorrupted, musical tones and a hum/noise free operation. A unique feature of the Fishman pickups the 2 distinct voices on offer, which can be switched between via the push/pull tone pot. The neck pickup is designed with alnico V magnets, offering the classic musical power with plenty of explosive character for full chords and fluid solos. Selecting the pickup's first voice delivers full, rounded tones with plenty of boost and unprecedented articulation and dynamics. Its second voice is designed to offer crisp, clean, fluid tones of a typical neck pickup, but without the thin, plinky sounds.

The bridge humbucker is designed with a ceramic magnet, offering a brutal and aggressive tone with a cutting attack and a passive punch. Selecting the pickup's first voice will deliver extra crisp, with a searing crunch, tight bass, and plenty of growl. Its second voice offers a modern passive attack, creating a more organic feel and high output, with a superb distortion character and fluence dynamics and response.

Evertune Bridge

The Evertune bridge uses a system of springs and physics to precisely balance the string tension and provide the perfect intonation across all the strings. About Brian ‘’Head’’ Welch

Brian Welch is an American born musician, singer, and songwriter known for his role as guitarist and co-founder of the nu-metal band Korn. Brian’s playing style, along with fellow guitarist James Shaffer, helped create Korn’s distinctive sound, delivering a mixture of siren-like shards and dissonant guitars. Welch soon left Korn after becoming a born-again Christian, which lead to his solo career for many years before re-joining the band in 2013. Brian Welch was ranked at No. 26 of Guitar World’s ‘’100 Greatest Heavy Metal Guitarists of All Time’’.
