The Snakebyte is the result of a partnership between James and ESP and contains all the components which inform his riotous riffing.

Fiery, volcanic and aggressive, these signature pickups give you a colossal voicing. Created specifically for James, the EMG Active JH Set is key to generating his unique sound. The JH-N in the neck position growls a with fierce attack, high output, and a rich low end to bring serious presence. EMG carefully constructed this fearsome voicing by installing individual ceramic poles and bobbins that have a larger core.

Cut through any mix. The bridge pickup delights in unrelenting, full-throttle distortion. The JH-B doesn't hold back with its tight, crisper attack and ringing clear tones. Because these are both active pickups you can be sure that you'll have a fully loaded output matched with clarity and definition at high gain levels. Crank up the distortion and let it rip, these humbuckers were made for rocking.

Let loose with as much energy as you can muster. The thin U-shaped mahogany neck is fast, polished and incredibly comfortable. Shaped to give your fingers ample room on the fretboard, you'll be able to unleash flurries of notes at blistering tempos. Chording is also effortless on this profile, as you have all that extra room to reach those awkward notes. Built for expansive playing, it's made from three layers of mahogany to ensure it can withstand your most aggressive sets. This is made for the long haul.
