Key Features
Based loosely on the Vox Phantom played by rock icons such as Tom Petty, Eko have reinterpreted the Phantom guitar for the modern player with this Eko Ghost VI.
Although highly similar, there are some interesting differences in this modern interpretation. The Basswood body is cut with a shallower arc along the bass side and the headstock is slightly smaller. The ample pickguard is also perloid rather than plastic adding more punch to its visual appeal.
The three in a row knob configuration is the same as the original but Eko have added their own 60s Italian styled adjustable tension vibrato unit to this electric guitar. The Maple neck is a slim and highly playable C profile with a Rosewood fingerboard featuring fat vintage style fretwires.
The Eko Ghost VI's single coil sized, humbuckers and 5-way pickup switch produce a wide variety of tones, some of which may surprise those guitarists familiar with the original Phantom. The Eko Ghost VI is a guitar well suited to those seeking a modern sound but a distinctive look.
