Solid Spruce & Solid Mahogany Construction

The Fender PM-TE features a solid spruce top that yields crisp articulation and delivers a broad dynamic range. Spruce is the most commonly used wood for guitar tops as it generates a versatile sound and accommodates numerous playing styles, from aggressive to fingerpicking. The wood itself is quite elastic in nature, which resonates well whilst remaining strong, and provides a focused, clear sound of deep lows, warm midi-range, and bright sparkling highs. Its stunning spruce top is coupled with solid mahogany back and sides, producing a rich, resonant warmth that blends beautifully with the tone produced from its solid top. As back and side panels, the mahogany delivers a meaty mid-range, producing punchy, woody tones with plenty of depth that is sure to please most styles of play.

Mahogany Neck & Ovangkol Fingerboard

Constructed from mahogany, the Fender PM-TE's neck offers players a resonant soft warmth that responds greatly to numerous styles of play. With its superb response, the mahogany neck enables players to achieve a pure, full sound with the ability to clearly hear each chord strummed, and each note picked. In addition, the neck has an open-pore finish for a sublime tonal quality, and a unique visual. The neck is topped with an ovangkol fingerboard which adds deep warmth to the overall sound.
