Basswood Body

The GJ2 Concorde Guitar features a lightweight basswood body that offers a fat, well balanced tone, perfect for playing a wide range of music. The wood has a muscular midrange, producing a soft sound that is both dynamic and defined. With a body shape based on Grover's original asymmetrical V shape with a tailpiece to match, the GJ2 also features chrome hardware and a antique white finish with black pin stripes to create a stylishly sleek look.

Basswood Neck and Rosewood Fingerboard

The basswood is built with a neck though design, offering excellent sustain and stability for the soft wood, allowing the basswood’s tonal characteristics to shine. The neck delivers a prominent midrange tone, whilst its low end is filled with harmonics for a dynamic sound. Adding a rosewood fingerboard to the neck opens up the midrange for a rich, warm tone. The responsive fingerboard also tightens up the guitars overall tone, providing excellent clarity that will let each note sing.

Habanero Classic Humbuckers

The Choncorde features a set of Habanero’s classic bridge and neck humbuckers, designed with slip coils to give you the ability to switch between humbucker tones to single coil sounds. The two PAF type humbuckers provide a midrange output that offer dramatic clarity and a powerful punch. The classic bridge humbucker delivers a fatter tone than the neck humbucker, allowing for a more defined and dynamic tone, perfect for chords and rhythm. Both pickups produce incredible tones that are perfect for any musical style, making the Hellhound a very versatile guitar.
