The Ibanez AEG10II Electro Acoustic in Black has a slim and curvaceous body with a single cutaway to give you the ideal balance of powerful tones with easy playability. The on-board Fishman Sonicore pickup allows you to plug directly into a guitar amp or PA system so you can get performing on stage with the minimum of fuss. The Ibanez AEQ-SP1 preamp ensures you'll have a crisp and articulate amplified acoustic guitar tone, while the 2-band EQ with handy tuner lets you shape your sound directly on the side-mounted controls and quickly get in tune. If you want to play acoustically, you'll be guaranteed a strong and nuanced tone courtesy of the spruce top and sapele body. The top is supported with an X bracing pattern for enhanced sustain and nuance, while the mahogany neck provides additional warmth and a smooth playing feel with its satin finish. The AEG1011 has Ibanez Advantage String Pins which enable far-easier string changes than traditional designs, while the die-cast tuners let you get tuned accurately and remain in-tune during your whole performance. Solid Tonewoods

The Ibanez AEG10II features a solid mahogany body which gives a warm and resonant tonality, with a spruce top providing additional nuance and top-end. The mahogany neck assists with sustain while the rosewood fingerboard gives good articulation and low-end response. These woods provide the Ibanez AEF10II with a lovely un-plugged tone that will suit every style of playing, from delicate finger-picking through to passionate strumming. The acoustic sound will be ideal for practice at home, recording, or even taking to more intimate gigs for a completely natural and balanced sound that could complement a singing voice perfectly.

Ready To Be Plugged In

The AEG20II features a Fishman Sonicore pickup with an Ibanez AEQ-SP1 preamp to make sure that, when you plug this guitar into an amp or a PA system, you'll still have the same great quality of tone only louder. The in-built tuner is very handy for practice or for when you only have a few seconds to tune quickly in-between songs on stage. The preamp offers 3-band EQ adjustment with a phase reverse switch to give you plenty of tone sculpting options, easily accessible on the top bout of the guitar.

Comfortable Playability

The AEG10II features a satin finished neck which gives a wonderfully silky-smooth feel for gliding up and down the neck. Unlike other finishes, it won't become sticky under stage conditions, meaning you'll be able to keep playing even when situated under hot stage lighting or after a long practice session. The fingerboard features a modern 400mm radius which is quite flat and allows the strings to be setup with a low action (close to the fingerboard) enabling easier left-hand fingering. This is a comfortable and great sounding guitar that you'll want to keep playing, even when your stage set is finished.
