The Jackson JS22-7 Dinky incorporates a string-thru body to provide improved tonality and sustain by transferring vibrations and resonance from the string to the body as it goes over the tailpiece and passes through the body.

The incorporation of a three top, four bottom machine head pattern on the Jackson JS22-7 helps to reduce sympathetic vibrations by allowing less room between the nut and machine heads to deliver a pure and charismatic tone.
