The Keeley 30ms Double Tracker is loaded with double tracking, useful for giving instruments a bigger sound, creating an instrument that sounds thick and full. The 30ms provides that effect by offering an array of different studio style doubling effects in a compact, portable pedal. Keeley's 30ms double tracker offers four control knobs to shape your sound.
The tuning dial has two modes: on dimension and slapback it controls the tuning of the double tracked voices up to +/- 30 cents, and on abbey mode it controls the modulation rate and depth, Reverb controls the amount of vintage studio echo chamber style reverb is used and rolls off at 600Hz and 10kHz. The time knob controls the delay time from 0 - 30ms and on slapback mode the delay time is 30-120ms, The Level knob controls the amount of output the effect has.
The Keeley 30ms Double Tracker features three different modes to shape your sound with. Dimension mode drops the reverb control and instead uses it to control the over double tracked voices. This mode allows both voices to be turned up to 30 cents, either sharp of flat and a delay of up to 30ms for a subtle to a very distinctive doubling sound. Abbey mode offers an effect that is similar to a conventional chorus without sounding like a chorus pedal. This mode simulates synched tape decks that are running in parallel at varying tape speeds, creating a wide, lush sound. Finally, the slapback mode offers a double tracked echo that features two altered voices to create a rockabilly sound.
