Each string has its own scale length, giving each note you play on every string perfect tonal sharpness. For example, the bass strings don't stretch as much as they would on a standard guitar when you hit them with force. This decreases the pitch increase you often get on lower strings when striking them aggressively. Intonation stays unbelievably accurate, no matter how energetically you play.

Then there's the feel. There's never been a guitar that fits as flawlessly as the Hype Multi-Scale does in your hands, thanks to Ormsby's acutely designed fanned frets. The fretboards stretch out at gradually increasing angles from a straight fret at the 9th fret position. Ormsby's extensive research in developing the multi-scale revealed that this is the most natural resting position for the majority of guitarists. The frets then spread at angles from this central point to align with the shape of your wrist at various points along the neck. The Ormsby story

A tireless journey to craft the perfect guitar. Perry Ormsby was a talented carpenter for years before starting Ormsby Guitars. He would repeatedly promise to himself that he'd one day use his carpentry skills to make a fantastic guitar. The dream would eventually become a reality when Perry decided to give up everything, quit his job, sell his house, and chase his fantasy.

He never looked back. Shortly after crafting his very first model, word spread amongst guitarists, and Ormsby soon had an instrument waiting list of over two years. With the amazing multi-scale development, the company has gone from strength to strength.
