Diamond Alnico Plus Humbuckers

The Schecter Ultra-III Guitar is equipped with a set of diamond alnico plus humbuckers, with beautiful gold foil coverings and a 5-way rotary pickup switch to add to its vintage aesthetic. Featuring pickups in the bridge, middle, and neck positions, the Ultra-III delivers a truly versatile tone suitable for a variety of musical genres. Schecter’s diamond alnico plus humbuckers are designed to offer a beautiful vintage/PAF tone with a modern character, delivering fat, warm sounds with soothing harmonics and plenty of punch. Three split coil switches are also included to expand its tonal options, allowing players to switch between crunchy humbucker chords and sweet vintage-style single-coil licks.

Mahogany Body

The Ultra-III’s mahogany body delivers a naturally warm tone with a touch of bite, creating beautifully tights lows and an appealing high-end ideal for creating sharp tonal runs. Its sweet sonic punch and rich character delivers an excellent amount of depth, providing the guitar with an incredible sustain and resonance. Its flat top contour features a raised centre with sculptured edges to create a stunning design, while its ivory pearl finish, nickel hardware, and black pickguard creates a truly vintage appearance.

Comfortable Mahogany & Pau Ferro Fingerboard

The Schecter’s 3-piece mahogany neck features a smooth thin ‘C’ profile, allowing the hand to naturally cup the neck and deliver incredible comfort across the entire fingerboard. The mahogany tonewood delivers excellent dynamics and harmonics, creating a full sound with plenty of sustain and punchy growl. The addition of a pau ferro fingerboard infuses the tone with extra warmth, producing a mellow character with sparkling highs, thick lows, and an open midrange. The guitar is also equipped with Grover vintage tuners and pearloid block inlays, adding to the classic aesthetic.

Bigsby Vibrato Bridge

With a Bigsby flat top B50 bridge, the Ultra-III can create incredible pitch shifting effects easily, allowing players to deliver a variety of effects to enhance their performance. With a classic design, the Bigsby bridge not only bends notes and chords, but also adds a visual aspect to the guitar. The bridge also features a roller tune-o-matic to keep the string secure, offering excellent string stability with a tight spec tolerance.
