With its Crimson Red Burst Flamed Maple top, black binding, and Gothic cross inlays, the Schecter Demon is a beautifully crafted guitar. The Schecter features a lightweight Basswood body that produces a fat, well balanced tone. The basswood body produces a muscular midrange, with a soft and breathy feel to its sound, creating dynamic tones.
The Schecter Demon 7 features a set of Duncan Designed pickups that are based on the popular Seymour Duncan blackout active humbucker, creating excellent lows with soaring highs. The high output pickups offer a loud, tight tone that’s balanced nicely, producing a muddy tone with plenty of bass, mids, and excellent treble. For even more string tension, clarity and sustain, the Demon 7 features a Tune-O-Matic with the strings going through the body.
The Rosewood fretboard is naturally oily and works well for any surface that sees frequent human contact. The stray overtones are absorbed into the oily pours, making the sound richer than that of a Maple fingerboard. The Maple neck will withstand the test of time and usage as it has less reaction from environmental changes than other hardwoods. The Schecter Demon 7 also features high quality tuners with a classic design in a lubricated and sealed housing to protect gears for a lifetime.
