The Shadow SH 145 Prestige Active Humbucker is a magnetic pickup like no other. Featuring powerful samarium cobalt magnets, this stacked humbucker pickup is designed to produce a clear and natural-sounding acoustic tone. Its dual coil design, complete shielded case and low impedance output eliminate hum and protect it from outside magnetic interference. Also included is an endpin connection cable for permanent installation and a 12' detachable quick mount cable.

This active humbucker pickup is free of 50/60Hz hum due to its complete shielded case and low impedance output, which protect it from outside magnetic disturbances. The internal electronic circuitry is powered by a single 3V cell battery with an extremely low power consumption, and lasts for up to approximately 1880 hours.
Compact Design
The Shadow SH 145 Prestige has been especially design to mount an acoustic guitar's soundhole, which means it can attach easily and effortlessly, and also allow easy access to the rotary volume control. It is built as a stacked humbucker using powerful samarium cobalt magnets. Adjustable pole pieces are trimmed to provide an optimum string balance for the acoustic guitar strings, and therefore delivers a perfectly balanced output.
