The Original Tumnus Pedal

The Wampler Tumnus was a recreation of the legendary 'K'-pedal overdrive and delivered incredible touch-responsive tone in a small pedal format. The Tumnus Deluxe is the new version of that pedal with the same string-to-string clarity, high-headroom output, and amp-like breakup that made this style of overdrive pedal so iconic. It provides extra tonal sculpting options and high-gain mode to give even more control of your sound.

Enhanced EQ

The Wampler Tumnus Deluxe Overdrive is full of fresh new features, bringing a new 3-band EQ to the Tumnus format and allowing you to sculpt your tone with active controls that can boost or cut your desired frequency band. This provides you with a warm low-end, high top-end sparkle and an easily identifiable midrange hump from the legendary pedal that the Tumnus Deluxe looks to build upon. The normal/hot switch also lets you set your pedal in the original Tumnus mode or in a high gain setting, ideal for increasing sustain and saturation; just like adding a nice boost effect to the circuit. This pedal works equally well as an amp booster as it does an all-in-one overdrive effect, so you should have no problem integrating it into your current rig and achieving those legendary tones.

Bypass

The Wampler Tumnus Deluxe Overdrive gives you the option of choosing either a buffered output or true bypass operation. The buffer provides a high-quality signal that can subtly thicken your tone even if the pedal is not in operation. Alternatively, the true bypass gives you the ability to remove the circuit entirely from your signal chain and achieve uncoloured tonal purity.
