Despite this, they're versatile enough to fit around any other playing style or genre. Needless to say, the EMG X pickups are loud, angry, and deliver your riffs with unmitigated power.

An Eye for Detail

The Rex Brown Rockbass is covered with tiny little details that help make it sound unique and great fun to play. Its wenge fingerboard feels nice in the hand and is slick to help it adapt to fast play styles. The maple neck is perfect for giving you that snappy attack response during play. It looks good too. And on top of that, it also wears beautifully, giving you that natural vintage look over time. The block inlays are excellent for giving you the reference you need for accurate articulation and features a great looking skull decal on the 12th fret.

Tough, Beautiful Alder

Warwick have opted for alder for the body of this bass. As a tonewood, you can expect a very balanced tone across the spectrum. With alder, you get a slightly fuller sound than with other tonewoods. Coupled with the attacking bite of the maple neck, you get a rock ready riff machine. Due to the balance of the alder body, however, the bass can also adapt to other styles. The Rex Brown bass is versatile and can handle any style of bass you throw at it.

It doesn't matter if you're playing up or down the neck. The highs will shine beautifully through the mix and the lows will rumble.
