Solid Spruce Top, Mahogany Back and Sides

The Washburn features a solid Spruce top that’s bound with Rosewood to a Mahogany back and side panels to create a guitar that’s elegantly styled and produces a beautifully warm tone. With the Spruce top offering a bright robust tone with plenty of projection, excellent clarity and great definition between strings, the acoustic guitars Mahogany back and side panels provide the tone with a clear and focused midrange as well as produce a good amount of treble which makes it excellent for strumming. The x bracing that’s featured in the guitar allows the top to vibrate more freely to produce a big and bold tone that’s well balanced.

Mahogany Neck and Rosewood Fingerboard

Constructed from Mahogany, the Washburn’s neck offers a warm tone that’s airy and possesses enough presences in the lower mids to keep the tone mellow, whilst the Rosewood fingerboard helps to soften up the sound. With the Rosewood Fingerboard and Mahogany neck coupled together, the guitars highs become complex with great definition and depths, whilst its lows become creamy and thick, and its 2-way trussrod helps keep the neck precise and allows for stable neck adjustments.

Fishman Electronics

Washburn’s WLO10SCE features a Fishman Sonicore pickup that runs into a Fishman 301T preamp to capture the raw sound of the guitar and reproduce it in its cleanest form. The 301T preamp is designed with 5 different controls to help enhance the guitars playback, with a volume control that allows for the guitars tone to be boosted without causing feedback and distortion when at high levels, a bass control that adds depth and weight to the sound, treble enables the guitar to cut through the mix, a phase which improves the bass response when the guitar is at low volume and helps reduce feedback when at a high volume, and a tuner to help keep the guitar in tune at all times.

Constructed with a properly cured solid soundboard and featuring a scalloped-X bracing, NuBone nut and saddle, class-leading Rosewood binding, faux-wood rosette and boutique Cleatone strings to create a line of incredible sounding guitars, the Woodline series is designed to appeal to aspiring singer-songwriters and finger-stylists.
