The JBL PRX710 active speaker is equipped with a 10'' Differential Driver low-frequency woofer and a 1.5'' neodymium compression tweeter with annular polymer diaphragm. These drivers are powered by an efficient Class-D amplifier which provides up to 1500 watts (peak). Two user-selectable EQ presets optimise the sonic performance, while a sophisticated DSP provides further optimise the crossover frequency, dynamic limiting and protection.
Innovative Design
Differential Driver technology reduces the overall weight of the driver by integrating the heat sinks within the cast aluminium frames and dual voice coils. This innovative design results in improved heat dissipation, reduced power consumption and an overall higher dynamic range, as well as minimal distortion and incredibly transparent audio reproduction across the entire range.
Tour-Ready Cabinet
The PRX710 cabinet is built from lightweight yet rugged 18mm poplar plywood with tongue and groove joints and 25mm top and bottom panels for additional rigidity. All PRX700 series cabinets have a dent-resistant 16-gauge steel grille and are finished with JBL's tour-proven DuraFlex finish. Multiple M10 suspension points enable you to securely suspended the speaker for installed applications within performance venues and commercial environments. The glass-filled nylon handles has an injection moulded backing cup and allows you to conveniently carry the speaker.
