Versatile Functionality

The GB4-40 can be used for both front of house and monitor duties enabled by dual-mode topology with fader control of group or aux outputs. There are four mute groups to allow several channels to be muted simultaneously, the limiter on a set of dedicated record outputs makes it easier to create a stereo recording of the mix. The GB4-40's output matrix has seven feeds to four outputs, being fed from the group buses and the main L, R and C mono outputs.

Industry Standard Construction

The console is hard wearing and sturdy, designed for heavy use at an industry standard level. All input modules are constructed with individual vertically-mounted PCBs fitted to the steel chassis front panel with individually-nutted potentiometers. The rear connector panel slopes so it is easier to configure from the front of the desk, and the integral power supply has a link option for an external backup PSU.

Expansive Connectivity

As well as delivering everything you'd expect from a GB Soundcraft mixing console, the GB4 features 32 mono input channels with each channel featuring GB30 microphone pre's and 4-abdn GB30 EQ section for maximum control and versatility over your inputs. This combination of premium-quality microphone preamps and the 4-band EQ results in a versatile yet powerful performance delivering studio-quality audio in a convenient mixing solution. Additionally there is direct outputs on every mono channel plus 8 auxiliary send with flexible pre/post switching. When it comes to monitoring the GB4 features 4 segment LED's on each output and 12 segment output meters allowing to monitor your mixes at a quick glance.
