The Klark Teknik KT-2A combines hand-selected 12AX7, 12BH7 and EL84 tubes together to create a low-noise analog output with the perfect balance of warm bass, crystal-clear mids and smooth treble. At the heart of the KT-2A amplifier is a lag-free optical attenuator which is based on the original electroluminescent technology, built to meet or exceed the LA-2A's original specifications and ensure unparalleled signal integrity. The KT-2A classic levelling amplifier offers an ultra-fast attack time of 10 milliseconds and an adjustable release time from 50 milliseconds to a maximum of 5 seconds. Complete with precise front panel controls, a vintage-style meter and a 2U rack-mountable chassis, the Klark Teknik KT-2A compressor/levelling amplifier is perfect for both live and studio applications.
