The cardioid pickup pattern is ideal for a range of recording applications from vocals and percussion, to stringed instruments and more. The large-diaphragm gold-sputtered Mylar diaphragm includes a machined brass backplate for that signature warmth and presence the Baby Bottle microphones are renowned for.
