Compact Yet Powerful Audio Interface

The iRig Pro is a compact yet powerful audio interface featuring a multitude of useful connections plus exceptional audio quality. The compact and simple design gives you everything you need at your fingertips, with its streamlined design allowing you to quickly get setup and recording. The unit itself features a large rotary dial for gain control, allowing you to dial in the amount of volume you require for different inputs. The small size makes it perfect for taking with you anywhere you go and will easily fit into your backpack as well your trouser pocket for added versatility. The iRig Pro features a combo XLR-1/4’’ combo jack so you connect both XLR and 1/4’’ TS cables for recording both microphones and instruments. It also comes complete with 2 conectors cables:- Lightning and USB to ensure you can connect to any device you wish. You can use the iRig Pro with either your mac computer or an iOS device such as an Apple iPhone for added versatility, allowing you to record on the move or at home.

High-Quality A/D Conversion

When converting analog signals into a digital format, audio quality is paramount; iRig Pro has taken this into account and included an exceptional 24-bit converter with a 48kHz sample rate (96kHz sample rate available through a downloadable firmware update). This ensures the best possible audio quality available, capturing every nuance from your input source whether it be a microphone or a high-level instrument input.

Built-In Phantom Power

One of the most innovative and useful features of the Ik Multimedia iRig Pro is the integrated Phantom Power function. Utilising the latest in circuitry technology, IK Multimedia have managed to include a +48V Phantom Power connection using the 9V battery that comes included with the interface. Phantom Power is needed for high quality studio condenser microphones to capture every nuance of the recording source for optimal clarity and ultra-accurate sound. Simply plug in your condenser microphone, flip the Phantom Power switch on and you’re ready to go.

Ultra-Low Noise Preamp

A problem a lot of compact interfaces encounter is interference from operational noise. Because of the compact nature of smaller interfaces, internal circuitry is normally compacted together to save space but in turn creates added noise in the background. The iRig Pro combats this, virtually eliminating the operational noise thanks to the new high-definition preamp design. IK Multimedia have kept their secret close to their chest on this one and it can only be heard to be believed.

Free Music Software and Apps

The iRig Pro also comes complete with a range of musical software and applications. This allows you to get started and recording straight out of the box. For iOS, the iRig Pro has included the AmpliTube FREE, SampeTank FREE and iGrand Piano FREE. All these applications features upgrade and access to more functions once registered for added functionality. For Mac, the iRig Pro includes AmpliTube Metal, T-RackS CS Classic Master Suite and SampleTank 3 SE Sound Workstation. This bundle of software allows you to record and edit your sounds straight out of the box, giving you everything you need to get started straight away.
