The Waves NX Head Tracker is an innovative new way to mix and record in headphones. The small Bluetooth enabled device is designed to mount onto your headphones to track your head movements while in use. The device then reacts accordingly and augments the sound to emulate 360-degree sound. This allows you to hear your audio in ‘real-world’ settings, giving you a sense of three-dimensional audio depth. When combined with the NX software, the NX Head Tracker reconstructs a realistic three-dimension audio experience for the best possible listening and mixing experience.

NX Virtual Mix Room

The Waves NX Head Tracker comes complete with NX Virtual Mix Room – a virtual monitoring plugin that is designed to simulate the acoustic of a high-end mixing environment. The Virtual Mix Room plug-in is powered by Waves custom Nx Technology that gives you natural depth and a panoramic stereo image normally reserved for speakers, straight into your headphones. This gives you the ability to accurately judge mix depth and panning within your headphones. You can even Mix for 7.1, 5.1 and 5.0 surround on your stereo headphones for added versatility. One of the most useful features is the ability the personalise the plug to your individual head measurements for improved accuracy and detail.
