High quality materials

This instrument is made out of the solid tonewoods, maple and spruce. These woods are selected specially for their tonal properties. The bass is hand carved on the front with spruce and back and sides are laminated maple. Maple is a traditional wood used in string instrument construction and is the same wood you'll find on top of the range and antique instruments. A chestnut brown varnish ensures a high quality, antique feeling finish to the bass. The machine tuning heads are brass ensuring a precise and stable tuning.
