Yamaha YTS62S Professional Tenor Saxophone, Silver - Ex Demo Overview
Highly expressive with a resonant tone. The Yamaha YTS62S tenor saxophone maintains the excellent response and flexibility of previous models while benefiting from redesigned features. Capable of producing a versatile tone, the YTS62S is ideal all music styles.
The tone of the saxophone has never been easier to control thanks to the new 62 neck. With a slightly narrower bore, the neck produces a darker tone which has a more solid tonal core. An improved low B-C# mechanism ensures the low C# key shuts reliably, while also achieving a clearer response from notes in the lower ranges.
Included with the YTS62S tenor saxophone is a semi-hard case with backpack straps and a Yamaha 4C so you can start practising straight away.

The new Yamaha YAS62 Professional Saxophone includes a neck with a sightly narrower bore than before, giving the sax greater control than before. It allows a comfortable flow of air through the neck, giving great intonation throughout the saxophone. A professional style neck receiver makes the whole instrument more rigid, creating a better resonance through the instrument and a deeper tone.
Improved Keys and Mechanisms
The key posts on the Yamaha YTS62 have been aligned on to a single plate which results in a greater resistance and a deep, rich timbre. A new and improved Low B-C# connection mechanism ensures a definite closure of bottom keys, giving a clear response from the lower range of notes. Harder steel springs on the improved model cater for faster and more responsive playing.
Moulded Semi-Hard Case
The Yamaha YTS62 Professional Saxophone includes a lightweight Semi-Hard case that is suitable for transportation of the instrument to rehearsals and gigs alike using the included shoulder strap.
