Offering a staggering 28 modes of distortion spanning everything from vintage guitar amplifiers, tube, tape and transformer emulations to unique creative FXs, Saturn 2 gives you the tools to sculpt and shape any sound source. Each distortion holds a distinctive character and can add subtle warmth and transparency for mastering purposes in a full mix or send your instruments through searing distortion for aggressive and punchy tones.
A newly implemented category within Saturn 2 is the Transformer distortions, with Subtle, Gentle and Warm settings, you can span the full range of overdrives to work on a full mix or group to individual instruments.

Here, you can experiment with activating your envelope follower on only the low frequencies to create an extra thick punch to your kick drums or bass guitars.
A new transient mode allows you to trigger your modulation on the transient detection of the source, to quickly and easily add positive or negative modulation to shape and sculpt the impact and punch of your selected band.
