TERMS OF PAYMENT
For orders placed using a Credit or Debit card, the payment card will be debited once the order is confirmed.
Prices include VAT unless stated. We are registered for VAT in 22 countries, and the rate of VAT applied to your order will always be clearly shown. If you are ordering from outside the European Union, Norway or Switzerland, we will show the price we will charge excluding VAT, plus the total amount including VAT that we expect you will pay when the goods are delivered. Gear4music will not collect the actual VAT amount or any import duty payable – this will be collected by your local customs office, and Gear4music are not liable to pay any additional import charges that may be imposed by couriers or customs.
DELIVERY TIME-SCALE & SERVICES
Delivery options, prices and time-scales are displayed in your shopping basket and are updated according to the basket contents. You will see a list of delivery options with prices, and a calendar which provides an estimated delivery date. Whilst we cannot guarantee either estimated delivery dates or the date you select using the calendar facility, the vast majority of orders are delivered on the date stated. If you live in a remote area, it may take longer to deliver your order and some delivery services may not be available. You will be advised if the delivery date and service are affected by your location when you log-in or enter your address details during checkout. For orders placed by PayPal: Currently, we can only deliver to the address that is confirmed in PayPal. There may be other delivery address restrictions which you will be made aware of depending on your chosen payment method.
ORDER WITHDRAWAL, CANCELLATION & RETURNS
All purchases come with a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee and a 2 Year Warranty as standard. Additional protection is available for a small fee at the point of purchase, giving you up to 180 Days' Money Back Guarantee and up to 6 Years' Extended Warranty. In scenarios where collection isn't free (e.g. cancellation of the order or as highlighted in this table), we can arrange to collect the item from you at a subsidised rate. This fee varies by item and is displayed on each product page within the provided warranty and money back information, and on the shopping basket page. You could also arrange to send the item back at your expense. Goods need to be returned without delay and received by Gear4music no later than 14 days from cancellation. To return a product under our standard or extended Money Back Guarantee schemes the product needs to be in 'as new' condition and well packaged and in its original packaging. For hygiene and software licensing reasons, some items are only eligible for our Money Back Guarantee if they are returned to us unused and sealed in the original packaging with all software still "unregistered". Details of exclusions are shown within the product descriptions. All of our warranty policies exclude items that have become defective due to misuse, accidental damage or any reason other than manufacturer fault. If an item is found to be without fault on its return to Gear4music and is outside of any applicable money-back guarantee period, then we will return the item to you for a small charge. We also recommend that you insure your goods.
