Exceptional Projection

The XPK 20'' Drum Kit is well suited to a broad range of musical genres and playing styles thanks to each shells' all-birch finish. Birch shells are easy to identify due to their bright, articulate sound. Packed full of ''weight'' and ''punch'', they are significantly ''fatter'' and offer superior projection compared to maple shells.

Although bright, birch shells ensure a smooth well-balanced tone, providing adequate low-end, allowing them to cut through the densest arrangements. The sound of the kit is enhanced by the inclusion of low mass lugs, 1.5mm triple-flanged hoops and a solid ISO mounting system. These features work in unison to increase the shell's sustain, making them an ideal choice for both live performances and studio recording, particularly for Pop, Rock and heavier music styles.

Great Body and Tone

The XPK Drum Kits' 13'' x 5.5'' snare drum produces a bright powerful tone that responds well to high tuning. Providing an abundance of ''crack'' and ''presence'', it offers a great driving force that will accompany any arrangement. The contrast in tone complements the deep, resonant tone of the 20'' x 18'' bass drum, its omission of a hole in the skin ensures a well-rounded but defined sound.
