Responsive and Durable Triggers

Featuring everything you need to start hybrid drumming out of the box, the Stage Custom drumkit even comes complete with Remo Silent Stroke heads ready to go. All five DT50 sensors included are made from solid metal die-cast and feature a chrome finish with a lug-style design for a sleek and clean look that blends into the natural aesthetic of your drums, while also being highly durable. The pack includes four dual-zone DT50S triggers for your snare and tom drums, with one DT50K single-zone trigger for the bass drum. The DT50S responds to both the rim and head of the drum and easily clamps to the side of the Yamaha Stage Custom drums with a simple finger fixing screw attachment.

Triple-Zone Cymbal Pads

To ensure you have everything needed, the pack includes a 13'' and 15'' triple zone cymbal pad, meaning all three zones can be configured to different sounds. For example, if you used the 15'' cymbal pad as a ride cymbal, you could configure the bell, surface and bow sound independently, covering all the key areas of a ride cymbal. This would allow you to retain an organic dynamic feel while playing. If you want to be more creative, you could set any sounds you desire for each zone of the pad. A dual-zone 13'' hi-hat is also included to complete the set of cymbals in the pack.

For those looking to dive deeper into a custom setup, you can draw from a selection of 691 individual sounds to create custom kits to match your own style. The DTX502 gives you the freedom to experiment with everything from heavy double bass kits to explosive dance kits and save your favourite ten in the memory slots for instant recall later. If you want to expand your sound even further, the DTX502 also allows you to import your own custom sounds to the module, meaning there is always the opportunity to play with fresh new sounds, even years down the line.

Built-In Training Functions

With a range of effective warm-ups and games, the DTX module is great for beginners and advanced players alike. One of the many challenges is ''Rhythm Gate'', which alerts you to timing mistakes by silencing your off strokes. All drummers could benefit from that. For beginners, the ''Groove Tracker'' will help you pick up the beat, for more experienced players ''Fast Blast'' will test your chops! There's also a spoken grading system that gives you feedback along your path, helping you improve every step of the way.

Remo Silent Stroke Heads

The Yamaha DTX Hybrid Conversion Pack includes a 10'', 12'', 14'' (x2) and 20'' Remo Silent Stroke mesh drum heads. These heads substantially reduce the volume of your drums, making it much easier to hear the electronically triggered sounds through an amplifier or speakers, which is perfect for practice sessions and gigs. This also gives you more control over the volume, allowing you to play at home without the noise of drums. Remo Silent Stroke heads are great for playing small venues and other places where the volume may be an issue, and are made from mesh material which provides a soft, spring-like feel when playing.
