Premium quality pads
Whilst most electronic drum kits in this price range include rubber drum pads, the DD200X boasts mesh. Specifically chosen for the realistic stick response and bounce they provide, you'll find this is closer to the feel you'd get when hitting an acoustic drum kit. The ability to become acquainted with the dynamics and feel of a full size kit will ensure that when ready, your transition from digital to acoustic kit will feel seamless.
Maximum feel
The DD200X offers maximum tone and body from the comfort of your headphones. This means you can practice when you like, however you like, without disturbing those around you. The velocity sensitive nature of each pad produces a wide range of tones, depending on how hard you hit the drum pads. This is an excellent way to explore a key fundamental to good drumming - feel, allowing you to establish a style of playing unique to you. Soft touches will result in gentle sounds whilst aggressive hits will sound deep, powerful and refined.
The best start
From Jazz to Pop and Samba to Rock. No musical style has been forgotten when creating drum kits for the DD200X. The inclusion of 44 backing tracks covering a broad range of musical styles including Big Band, Folk, Hard Rock and Techno ensures there's something for everyone to enjoy whilst giving you the broadest scope possible to maximise your skill set. As your confidence grows so can the speed of the integrated metronome, relied on by many professional drummers to master technical proficiency, a metronome is a key aid in allowing you to master beats and fills.
Broad range of connectivity
In addition to the headphone input, the DD200X also has left and right MONO outputs which can be used for connecting and amplifying the kit through an amp or PA. Ideal for full-volume practice when the neighbours are away!
The USB port expands on the already powerful capabilities of the drum kit, allowing you to connect to your computer. From here you'll be able to broaden the realms of sonic possibilities by using the kit to trigger third party virtual drums in your DAW. This allows you to capture virtual drum performances with a human touch. You can even use the LINE IN to play along to your favourite artists and singles by connecting your laptop or tablet device.
