The Keith Mcmillen BopPad is an advanced electronic drum pad offering creative expression for drummers, percussionists and producers. Ideal for both the producer and performer, it features a velocity and pressure-sensitive 10-inch playing surface with 4 quadrants that can be split to different sounds or mapped to any parameter.

The Keith Mcmillen BopPad offers drummers, percussionists and producers a great deal of creative expression. The 10-inch pad allows for various dynamic expression that can be programmed to any sound and mapped to parameters of your choice. Being velocity sensitive the BopPad features a wide dynamic range allowing for the most sensitive hits to the most extreme. The BopPad is continuous pressure sensitive and can be mapped to any parameter meaning you can hold and change pressure to change a sound's parameter such as the frequency cutoff. This can also be done by moving across the pad as well. Program anything from MIDI notes, velocity, pitch bend, pressure and location CCs.
Map the pad to whatever you want. There are 4 programmable zones that can either be mapped to different sounds or timbres, or you can use the whole pad to trigger a single sound. For example, you can create a drum kit with each zone as a different sound, or set the pad as a snare drum and the pad will gather all the nuances such as velocity and timbre depending on where you hit, making the BopPad act as a virtual instrument. The BopPad features ultra-low latency ensuring latency under 3ms allowing you to play at quick speed with high accuracy.
