LP Karl Perazzo Signature Timbales Overview

The LP Karl Perazzo Signature Timbales have been designed with Santana's long time Timbalero, Karl Perazzo. These timbales have an incredibly high-quality design and sound exceptional in any mix or live setting. The Signature Timbales feature 6" deep, black nickel-plated shells that offer full-bodied resonance with each note. The patented top-tuning system is perfect for quick adjustments to the tuning, providing quick and easy tuning at all times. Fitted with black plastic drum heads, the LP Karl Perazzo Signature Timbales give a distinct, bright timbale tone while offering a sleek look.

These drums also come with a heavy-duty and fully height-adjustable stand. Also included with this set is a pair of timbale sticks, cowbell mounting bracket, and tuning wrench.

About Karl Perazzo

Karl Perazzo was born and raised in San Francisco's Mission District. He has gone on to play with the best in Pop, Jazz, Rock and Latin music. The self-taught musician is currently playing with the Santana Band, who he has recorded 3 albums with, one being a live album in South America.

Additionally, Perazzo has recorded and played with Malo, Jorge Santana, Cal Tjader, Dizzy Gilespie, Andy Narrel, Ray Obiedo, Tom Coster, Pete and Coke Escovedo, Dennis Chambers, Sheila E., The Artist, Mariah Carey, Paquito D' Rivera and is on the latest John Lee Hooker album.

In addition to all of the above, Karl has also performed on an array of TV shows, such as American Bandstand, Soul Train, Solid Gold, Jay Leno, Johnny Carson, David Letterman, The Grammies, The American Music Awards, and was the first percussionist to be invited to sit in with The Arsenio Hall Show house band on more than one occasion, and to perform on his 100th show.
