The toms featured on the PDP Concept Maple 4pc Shell Pack are fitted with chrome counter hoops. This means that the smaller drums on the kit feature thinner hoops, allowing them to resonate further and more freely to produce richer tones.
The STM (Suspension Tom Mount) system mounts the tops independently, rather than being attached to the bass drum. This allows the toms to resonate without any muting or unwanted sounds from hardware to shell contact.
