To deliver the Decade Maple shells' sound properties, you need superior drums with the most meticulous design. That's where Pearl's Superior Shell Technology comes in. This proprietary technique involves saturating the Maple wood plies with Pearl's AcoustiGlue - permeating each pore and drying to the wood's exact consistency. The plies are then baked in high-temperature with 1000 PSI of hydraulic pressure to produce indestructible shells that exhibit rich, thunderous tones and outstanding resonance.
The Pearl HWP-834 Hardware Set provides you with everything you need to set up your cymbals and snare drum. All the stands are high-quality and feature double-braced legs for added durability while remaining compact and lightweight. The two BC-830 Boom stands and the S-830 snare stand come equipped with Uni-Lock technology, rubber feet and nylon bushing joints. Additionally, the H-830 hi-hat stand features a chain drive with a standard clutch and a 'Demon-style' footboard. The included pedal in this set is the P-930 which is a single-chain, drive pedal.
