Key Features
The Premier Genista 14'' x 7'' Maple Snare Drum marries Premier's iconic sound with a distinct look. Launched in 1994, Genista continues to hold a special place in the heart of drummers. Comprised of a 5.6mm 7-ply maple shell, the 14" x 7" snare offers an abundance of low frequency energy. This is reinforced through the shell's 7" depth which offers fantastic weight and body, allowing it to cut through and anchor the densest of arrangements across a broad range of musical styles. The maple shell's smooth midrange and high-end frequencies also help to retain Premier's "signature" natural tone.
Sporting a bold purple fade sparkle lacquer finish, this visually striking snare is built from the finest components, including 10 iconic Genista style lugs as well as the 0640 strainer, allowing you to make instant tonal adjustments on-the-fly mid performance. Incredibly versatile, the 2.3mm triple-flange steel hoops offer great levels of resonance, producing powerful rimshot hits when desired. The Genista 14'' x 7'' Maple Snare comes fitted with Remo UT coated drumheads.
